Prove it

My major comment is in regards to all the adjectives flashed during the middle of the movie. You mention various things, but you don't really show examples. For example, you mention "Variety", but you don't show anything that really says "Variety" to prove the point.

For example, "Style" should have followed with maybe a nice trendy nightclub.

Something like that.

Looks good, but fails...

... at the creative level. You obviously spent a lot of time on layout, but the writing is where it fails. Anyhow, here's what I didn't like:

1. Opening credit sequence. It was long, it was boring, and it repeated the same name multiple times. So why was it left in?

2. Pace -- the whole pacing of the thing was way too slow. If it's a plot that's stupid and done to death, speed it up -- even if it's a parody.

3. "The Gag" -- dead batteries have been done to death. What would have been funnier is if the android was flawed because say... it takes him forever to do anything? He's constantly "loading" and just standing there while he does it. A lot of jokes could be done about loading and lag time for all his stuff. Picture it -- in the middle of a firefight, he goes to switch his hand for a gun, but it's as slow as you've illustrate it. You could see the droid thinking "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon" while fire flies past him, then even once he's switched to the gun, it has to load. Making the droid go nuts. Even if he tries to flee by flying away, he gets another screen showing his boosters are "loading"...

The positives are:

1. Decent animation style
2. Good artwork.

The problem is on Newgrounds, decent animation and artwork isn't hard to come by anymore.

A bit too simple...

And too hard to hear, for that matter. Might want to adjust the volume a tad. The joke's pretty old, so I'm afraid I can't rate it very high.

You might try a point.

You might want to try to add a point to your movie. Or maybe make the cross-hairs do something. I mean, c'mon. Nobody wacks a planet for the hell of it. (it's cost prohibitive) Your villains need motivation -- even simple greed works.

Not that I'm expecting some fantastic story, but I am expecting some mild form of entertainment.

Bright new talent...

Excellent work! I especially enjoyed the storyboard used for the credits.

It seems pretty good, but...

For the love of God! Either add sub-titles or work on the quality of the sound! I can't understand anything being said!

Technically good, although story lacking...

I thought it was technically excellent -- good use of camera angle, lots of fluid movement and complex animation.

From a story standpoint, it's rather lacking. The whole episode is a little pointless. Maybe I'm expecting too much from a flash cartoon.

Although Jorgen's got one helluva kick. I'll say that much for him.

The ending was cute.

Overall, excellent effort.

Making deep stories is not one of my stronger points...
Thank you for the kind review

Wow....

This is the first Clock Crew movie that I've ever liked. Holy crap!

Meanwhile, in Hell...

Satan: Who's the wise-ass building snow-devils??

Fantastic!!

First off: This is one of the very few movies that actually made me laugh out loud. Not "lol", but ACTUALLY laugh out loud!

Second: You have a fantastic grasp of direction. Excellent use of camera angles and music. Perfect timing. From a technical standpoint, it's wonderful.

Third: Marcus rocks. He's not some nasty little bastard, he's one of those types who chew out those who really deserve it. He's got style. (I think one of the key differences is that he's just not chewing the guy out... he's chewing him out with supporting arguments)

This is one fantastic piece of work and I hope to see more stuff in the future!

Technically sound, but...

I'd have to say that while I thought that technically the movie was very well done, I didn't really enjoy it.

Although I do have to applaud killing Eminem.

Sound loop just got annoying after awhile and the movie really wasn't really clever.

Still, technically very sound.

Hey there! Check out "...Over Spilled Milk" -- a movie that I worked on with Geoff Bathje. A great first team effort!
