Not bad for an early attempt

I'm assuming this is an early attempt. It's not bad; nice amount of click spots and obvious effort. But it's also nothing new or interesting.

HELL YEAH!!

DAMN I LOVE THIS GAME!! You're looking at the #1 top scoring Urbaniac for Bomb Diggity, with over 50K points on www.urbaniacs.com. (Iron_Pants).

OK, so I have a slight addiction, but I'm willing to admit I have a problem. But basically, what's not to love? Power ups, fast game-play, with high-scoring being about knowing how to kill henchlings along the way while taking the fastest route to the civilian.

I liked it!

Mick Foley is a nut. I mean, he might be very intelligent, but the things he's done to himself... by choice... just boggles the mind. Ya gotta love a guy that dedicated to entertainment that he'll cripple himself.

Anyhow, I think the game is pretty good. You'll want to tweak the Socko power meter -- and give time bonuses for either changing weapons or defeating opponents. You'll want more replay options, and the credits shouldn't end the game.

Still... I love the idea of doing in Vince with a chainsaw.

Feh.

I found Hitler offensive (yeah... the Hitler part was offensive but the baby dropping/catching part is okay. Go figure) and the game was boring and uninspired. At least it was technically sound.

Not bad...

But try to think of something a little more intersting than just clicking on the screen.

You're thinking though, and that's good. You've got potential... you just need experience. Try to make the puzzles related to each other and provide some sense of story. I know that sounds difficult but it IS possible.

Try to get a copy of "The Lady or the Tiger", a book of riddles and word puzzles. That might give you some inspiration.

Game needs tweaking...

OK, instead of just damning it, here's what you can do to improve instead:

A) Idle animation. Characters should move a little while standing still. Makes a difference even if the art is crap.
B) Collision Detection. Not ever "Chi" attack connections.
C) Difficulty. The game is possible, but it's not interesting enough to really want to try too hard. I have a feeling part of it stems from the actual machine's processing power -- it probably is easier on your own machine. Use the Frame rate to figure out how much time you want to give a player to react.
D) Control. A "run" or faster movement in melee would certainly help. The actual attack sequence control is well done though.

In short, a little more effort would make a real difference. Keep trying.

Childish and unentertaining.

The game play would have been forgivable if it actually worked properly (there are some real "iffy" parts), or if the style wasn't so repugnant, or immature... The only reason why it's gotten the marks that is has is that obvious real effort went into its creation... So you get an "E" for effort -- but when a passing grade is D- that doesn't look so good.

Needs a lot of work...

I'm Canadian, I don't agree with what's going on in BC, but that bit o' Flash needs a LOT of work before I can give it a decent rating.

Here's how to bump it up to an average rating:

1) Have Campbell react to shots -- have him get knocked down, cry out, SOMETHING more than little black holes.

2) Extra targets! Get creative.

3) Hit locations.

A tad too difficult

While a decent effort, you MUST learn how to create a properly connected movie. I shouldn't have to hit "RELOAD" to play again. Some cheats would be nice too... Otherwise, a good effort and some nice touches (such as Fern's animation and hit reactions, and the scoreboard actually fits the scene)

The previous reviewer (romeo_3951) is a moron.

This game would have taken a decent amount of effort -- although the text needs some better timing. Additionally, an ending that matched the opening in quality would have been a nice touch. A "Replay" button wouldn't have been too hard to do either. Still -- really a decent effort. The trip does need to be shorter though. And it'd be nice to see the "bad guys" react to when they get hit by half the traffic as well.

As to the romeo_3951 flame -- by all means, watch "Welcome To The Portal".

Hey there! Check out "...Over Spilled Milk" -- a movie that I worked on with Geoff Bathje. A great first team effort!
